7. How long do we store personal information?

Where you are a client, or your data is held on a client matter, the period your matter information (including your personal data) will be retained will be for at least 7 years, given our obligations to regulators, professional indemnity insurers and other relevant parties.Indeed, on occasion we may be obliged to store some data for a longer time, for example, where a longer time period is required by applicable laws. In this case, we will ensure that your personal data will continue to be treated in accordance with this privacy policy.

All information you provide to us in an electronic form is stored on our secure servers. Any information provided in another format will be held on a temporary basis in our office and then either converted into electronic format, or sent to a secure external archive.
